Hasan

Turkey - Kemer -  Hasan’s Party - Spring 2004

It was surely inevitable, but no less difficult for all of us.  Hasan decided to leave Kemer to “pursue other business opportunities”.  None of us knew exactly what that meant, but knowing Hasan, we were certain it would be interesting and likely lucrative for him.

It all happened very quickly, but the usual suspects managed to arrange a terrific going-away bash, complete with great food and far too much wine.

The new marina manager, Cemal Nemlioğlu, was introduced at the same time.  He comes from Istanbul, and will move his family to Antalya as he takes over the new job. 

Needless to say, all Kemerites will miss Hasan, so we sent him off in rousing fashion.  Cemal has big boots to fill, and we wish him all the best too.
